Your Blue Mountains small group eco tour begins with a drive from Sydney to Featherdale Wildlife Park, where you arrive before the other tourists and can interact with Australian wildlife. You will have the unique opportunity to pet koalas and feed kangaroos. You will come face to face with wallabies, dingoes, Tasmanian devils, and even emus.
After the Featherdale Wildlife Park tour, you will be taken to Blue Mountains National Park. Tour the remote regions and enjoy a stunning view of the Grose Valley. You'll then be served tea in Bilpin before you continue your tour through Hartley Vale. Be sure to look out for kangaroos while you're there. Lunch will be served in the Blue Mountains at the Katoomba Golf Club, where you'll enjoy a delicious 2-course meal.
After lunch, your guide will take you to Scenic World, home to the Scenic Rail, the world's steepest incline rail. On this small group tour, you will be given the opportunity to ride the Scenic Rail (additional expense) and enjoy the 415 meter descent into the rainforest. From there, you can choose to walk along the Scenic Walkway or take a gondola ride for a unique treetop view of the Three Sisters, the Blue Mountains' most spectacular landmark.
The very last stop on your eco tour is the Koomurri Aboriginal Centre, where you will see a traditional dance performance known as a corroboree. You'll also have time to look around and see the artifacts and art on display. Your Blue Mountains tour ends with a ride back to Sydney after a fun and eco friendly adventure.
